Pirates Watersports Club
The Pirates Watersports Club is our route for any young budding sailor to go once the RYA Stage 1 & Stage 2 courses have been completed. Any child between the age of 8-18yrs old may join.
The club sails every Sunday morning throughout the year and then on Thursdays during the summer school holidays.
Club sessions are about having fun as well as learning. All sailing sessions are supervised with on-the-water safety cover and RYA instructors on hand to offer any light hearted coaching.
Every person learns and participates in a different way to the next. As a person builds their sailing skill sets, the instructors will work with them to develop their sailing skills. You never know, they might even want to become part of Cinque Ports Pirates Sailing race team!
Pirates Watersports Club objectives is to make watersports accessible to children and young people. To provide support and opportunities for children and young people from a variety of backgrounds to participate and progress in the world of watersports.
Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets are loaned from Dover Marine Services CIC for the sessions and must be worn whenever near the water......you do not need to invest in anything!
