This is a great fun qualification to obtain if you love your powerboating and want to pass on that passion.

There will be no more than six trainee instructors on your course. All of you will run a number of practice sessions to develop your personal skills and are given help in identifying areas to progress in.

 

To qualify for this course you must already have:

• RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate

• Valid First Aid Certificate

• Pre-course skills assessment*

*Please note that you will have to pass a pre-course skill assessment. This will be an assessment of personal boat handling skills and will run on the dates close to the instructor course.

 

Note that the minimum age for this course is 16.
